Dr. Daljeet Kaur, FounderThe state of our mind reflects upon each & every aspect of our life. Seeking help for psychological problems is no more a stigma, and today's youth are freely seeking help from professionals if need be. However, there is a severe shortage of mental health professionals in India. According to the Indian Journal of Psychiatry, there are only 0.75 psychiatrists for every 100,000 patients in India. Filling this gap are the mental health service providers who have profound knowledge and expertise in every aspect of a person's mind. Also, the sharp rise of psychiatric problems among today's youth has increased the demand for psychiatric services in India recently. As per a recent study by UnivDatos Market, the Indian mental health market is expected to grow at a CAGR of 15 percent from 2022-2028. This has given rise to a massive number of companies foraying into the mental health industry, each wanting to grab their share of the pie.
