Recently, President Ramnath Kovind, while addressing an inaugural session of the 59th General Assembly of All India Ayurveda Mahasammelan at Kalidas Sanskrit Academy in Ujjain, called for making Ayurveda popular through qualitative criteria of continuous research, scientific certification and technical parameters.

A key factor driving the Indian ayurvedic product market is the popularity of the use and benefits of organic and herbal products. Moreover, with economic growth and rising incomes, per capita expenditure on healthcare products has increased significantly over the past few years, which has acted as a catalyst and helped create a positive impact on the ayurvedic product market.
