According to a joint announcement, Flipkart Health, is a newly formed entity inside the Flipkart Group that has agreed to buy a majority stake in online pharmacy and digital health platform SastaSundar.com. Flipkart Health+, renamed SastaSundar, will be led by Ajay Veer Yadav, senior vice president and a Flipkart veteran. The value of the transaction was not disclosed. The new company will begin by providing e-Pharmacy services before expanding into new healthcare verticals such as e-Diagnostics and e-Consultation.

According to a news report, SastaSundar was valued at $125 million in its most recent fundraising round in 2019. In November of this year, SastaSundar raised Rs.100 crore from Mitsubishi Corporation. In 2017 and 2019, Japan's Rohto Pharmaceuticals invested a total of $10 million in SastaSundar.
