Supreme Incubator, a virtual startup ecosystem, recently announced the start of its third cohort of its flagship six-month Seed-stage incubation programme. The cohort began in May 2021 and will continue until the end of this year, with the goal of enabling entrepreneurs to graduate with strong, scalable, and fundable projects.

Over 600 startups across India applied to the program with applications coming from different tier-I, tier-II, and tier-III cities including Bangalore, New Delhi, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Pune, and more.

After interviewing startups from various sectors, the programme accepted less than three percent of the applicants. The chosen founders are a diverse group, with some having prior corporate or business experience and others having recently graduated from prestigious institutes such as IITs.

The shortlisted startups like MBK Health Tech: an artificial intelligence (AI)-enabled remote cardiac monitoring solution, Magzigo: AR/VR-based education toolkits for schools, Edgenus: an online talent-building platform for artists, Suno Kitaab: a social enterprise distributing audiobooks for education in remote parts of the country, and more are building exciting products.

Startups will have access to mentors from companies such as 1mg, PayPal, MakeMyTrip, Flipkart, OLX, and research-based institutes such as IITs from around the globe. Experts from sectors such as spacetech, edtech, AI, healthcare, fintech, and others make up the mentor panel.

“It's inspiring to witness the undeterred entrepreneurial spirit of the founders that we engage with. As we scale up, we are constantly looking for bold committed innovators to create companies of the future,” says Disha Singla, co-founder, Supreme Incubator.

In March 2021, the incubator completed its second batch, with a total of 12 tech startups graduating. The eminent investors' demo day was broadcast on international television and on the OTT website. The batch was chosen from over 400 applicants and provided with one-on-one mentoring, strategic collaborations, investment and networking opportunities, as well as a complimentary workspace in New Delhi, over the course of six months.

“The graduating founders from Cohort two reflect some of the most innovative business ideas, driven by passionate teams. We are thrilled to have worked with them and are amazed at what they are capable of,” added Tanvi Singla, co-founder, Supreme Incubator.

Supreme Incubator, which is now in its third cohort, began with its pilot batch in September 2019, graduating eight startups from a pool of 102 applications.

Supreme Incubator offers similar programmes digitally around the world, with the goal of assisting more than 5000 startup founders in the next five years through initiatives such as the Startup Bootcamp, Mentor-Matchmaking, Virtual Entrepreneurship Fest, and others. Since its launch in 2019, the brand has engaged with over 900 entrepreneurs through national virtual events and has incubated a total of 20 startups.
