Women Entrepreneurs Empowerment Helpline to be launched by UP CM

Yogi Adityanath, the Chief Minister of UP will launch ‘Women Entrepreneurs Empowerment Helpline’ in the state on September 29th. To be launched under the aegis of Vikas Utsav program, the helpline will give women the necessary information about MSME and other details about entrepreneurship.

In a statement released by the state government, they said, “Under the ongoing Vikas Utsav program of the government, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will launch the Women Entrepreneurs Empowerment Helpline at Lok Bhavan on Wednesday.”

“The UP government, in the last four and a half years, spared no effort to make women entrepreneurs self-reliant by providing them employment, security, dignity and self-reliance,” it added.

Praveen Singh, MD, UPICO, stated that 75000 women from 75 districts will be given skill capacity development training and training for their safety at workplace under the ongoing Vikas Utsav program. He also said that CM Adityanath will launch Women Entrepreneur Empowerment Helpline number 1800 2012 6844 in the program.

Women entrepreneurs will be able to call the helpline number to get information related to MSME and the possibilities of self-employment and entrepreneurship.
The same day will also mark the beginning of the entrepreneurship development training for 75 thousand women. The government will also be giving out free gas connection that will also be distributed to women under Ujjwala 2.0.
