B2B logistics startup Pidge has raised USD 1 million from the Indian Angel Network for its recent expansion to Chandigarh and product pipeline. The new funds will also be used to expand the company's technological capabilities in order to improve routing and assignment efficiency, according to the company.

According to the statement, the logistics company recently introduced its services in the Chandigarh Tricity area, ensuring same-day delivery to its business partners even if the pickup was from Delhi. The portal is also present in Delhi-NCR, in addition to Chandigarh.

According to Pidge, the company is working on a number of fascinating projects, including hybrid SaaS and service fulfilment solutions.

The company recognised a huge opportunity in the last mile logistics area, which was fueled by behavioural changes on both the supply and demand sides, as well as challenges generated by current incumbents.

We are excited to be a part of IAN's network and welcome accomplished individual investors to help Pidge be the best last mile logistics company, says, Ratnesh Verma, Co-Founder of Pidge.

Pidge is an early-stage start-up based in Gurgaon that offers India's only safe, on-demand last-mile logistics service. Pidge is already functioning in five Delhi NCR cities, assisting consumers and companies with local delivery and courier needs.

Pidge was created with the goal of preserving the consumer experience. It ensures that the brand experience is constant from beginning to end.
