According to an official statement released 104 startups from various sectors have registered on the Startup India Showcase platform, where the most promising budding startups selected through various programmes are displayed in the form of virtual profiles.

Startup India Showcase is an online discovery platform for the country's most promising startups. These breakthroughs span a wide range of cutting-edge industries, including Fintech, EntrepriseTech, Social Impact, HealthTech, and EdTech.

Startup India Showcase is also an online networking platform that provides various social and digital connect opportunities. Each startup profile is linked to Social Media Pages, founders' LinkedIn URLs, and a direct Connect button, allowing users to network more easily. This allows platform users to connect more effectively and explore new business opportunities.

According to the commerce and industry ministry, these startups are solving critical problems and demonstrating exceptional innovation in their respective industries.

Each startup has a profile page on the platform with a detailed pitch about their product, innovation, and USP in the form of videos and PDF links.
This gives them unparalleled visibility in front of the entire startup ecosystem. The startups serve as the standard bearers for the high quality of Indian startups.

All Startup India-recognized DPIIT (Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade) startups are eligible to apply for the showcase platform.
The DPIIT has formed an apex committee to select startups for the Startup India showcase platform. The committee chooses from a list of startup applications, state recommendations, and any other startup that the committee deems suitable for the showcase platform.

"104 startups from different sectors such as Food-Tech, Green energy, Defence, Ed-Tech, Health-Tech, etc are currently onboarded on the platform," it said.

The platform provides benefits to stakeholders such as the discovery of startups with credible profiles for potential investment and acceleration opportunities, as well as being the first point of reference for new innovations and industry trends across the country.
