Swish, a 10-minute food delivery startup has raised $2 million in its first funding round. The round was led by the venture capital firm Accel.

The round also saw participation from angel investors like Abhiraj Bhal and Varun Khaitan, along with Karthik Gurumurthy, the former head of Swiggy Instamart, among others.

The funds will be used to expand Swish’s operations and enhance its delivery model across most areas of Bengaluru. The startup also plans to scale into other tier-I cities in the upcoming years.

Swish was founded in the year 2024 by Shah, Ujjwal Sukheja, and Saran S. The startup oversees the entire food delivery process, from preparation to delivery, within a compact 1.5–2 km radius. Currently, it operates several cloud kitchens in Bengaluru's HSR Layout and Bellandur areas.

By the end of November, Swish plans to expand its services to four more regions across Bengaluru, including Koramangala and Sarjapur.

The app offers 70 to 80 unique stock-keeping units (SKUs), featuring a variety of options such as indulgent treats, snacks, beverages, and meals.

Swiggy recently launched its Bolt service, while Zomato introduced a similar service called Instant in 2022, which was later rebranded as every day after struggling to find product-market fit.

With its focus on speed, variety, and a tightly controlled delivery radius, Swish aims to tap into the growing demand for fast, convenient food delivery while setting itself apart from its competitors.

In addition to offering fast delivery, Swish is focusing on maintaining food quality and consistency within its rapid delivery model. The startup is also exploring sustainable packaging solutions and Eco-friendly delivery options to further reduce its environmental impact.
