Gurgaon-based OfficeBanao, a tech-led platform offering comprehensive commercial interiors solutions, has recently raised an undisclosed amount of angel investment. The funding round saw participation from prominent industry figures, including Ajit Mohan, the Founder and CEO of Hotstar and former MD of Meta India, Ramesh Nair, an industry veteran in real estate, and Apurva Chamaria, the Head of Partnership Solutions, Start-ups & Venture Capital at Google India.

This angel investment comes just three months after OfficeBanao secured $6 million in funding from Lightspeed. With this latest infusion of funds, OfficeBanao aims to fuel its expansion plans and solidify its position in the industry. The company intends to utilize the investment to enhance its technology-driven platform, accelerate product development, and expand its workforce.

OfficeBanao, which was launched a year ago, provides customer-centric solutions for commercial interiors, catering to small office spaces in a transparent, cost-effective, and hassle-free manner. Its customer base spans over 15 cities, including some tier-2 markets. Looking ahead, the company plans to make its entry into 25 additional markets in the near future.

Tushar Mittal, Founder & CEO of OfficeBanao, expressed enthusiasm about the angel investment, stating, “We’re thrilled to have these industry leaders as partners in our journey. With the combined support of these investments, the recent partnership with Lightspeed, and the dedicated OfficeBanao team, we are well-positioned for accelerated growth and to meet the increasing demand for innovative and comprehensive workspace interior solutions.”

The backing from notable investors, coupled with the strategic partnership with Lightspeed, is expected to propel OfficeBanao’s growth trajectory and enable the company to meet the rising demand for workspace interior solutions in the market.
