ACS Energy, a smart EV charging startup, has raised Rs 1.1 crore (around $132,000) in a pre-seed funding round led by Inflection Point Ventures (IPV). The company plans to use the fresh capital to deploy 5,000 UPI-enabled EV charging stations across Maharashtra and Gujarat, while also developing AI-powered energy management systems tailored for high-rise buildings and residential complexes.

Founded in 2022 by Jash Sheth and Mihir Bhanushali, ACS Energy integrates hardware and software to make EV charging more seamless and accessible. Its UPI-enabled chargers work with two, three, and four-wheelers, allowing users to make instant digital payments via the ACS Pay system.

The startup is focused on addressing the growing infrastructure gap in EV charging, especially for urban residential and commercial properties, where managing power loads efficiently remains a challenge. By integrating AI-based systems, ACS Energy optimizes energy usage, reduces wastage, and supports sustainable operations.
