Agritech Startup qZense Labs Raises 4.5 Crorein Seed Funding
Bangalore based fresh food management startup qZenseLabs has secured seed funding ofRs 4.5 crore in a funding round led by incubator and acceleratorVenture Catalysts. Other participants in this round include 9Unicorns, the accelerator fund set up by Venture Catalysts, The Chennai Angels, Entrepreneur First, and Lumis Partners. Other investors in the round included Manish Modi, MD, Mastermind Capital and VedantLoyalka, Chairman, Curae Health.
Speaking about the investment, RubalChib, Founder, qZense, said, “We will leverage the capital infusion to bolster our expansion plans by scaling the team and accelerating our marketing endeavors.”
Founded in 2019 by RubalChib and DrSrishtiBatra, qZense has created an all-encompassing IoT solution for fresh food management. The solution helps users gain insights and realtime alerts on internal spoilage, ripeness level and shelf life. it undertakes a data driven approach and provides a non-destructive and accurate qualitative grading of fresh foods across the supply chain to food businesses and retailers.
