Amama jewellery marketplace raises $250,000 in initial money

Amama, an online marketplace for luxury designer jewellery, has received $250,000 in seed funding from She Capital. According to a press release from Amama, the funds will be used to expand its digital footprint and technologically advance its logistics and operations side. Amama Jewellery is a designer and maker of high-end fashion jewellery for ladies that was established in 2018 by Nikita Gupta.

With approximately 80 members in the team, Amama wants to penetrate more within the Indian market and expand into international markets. It aims to deliver the best quality jewels with fair practices keeping sustainability in mind.

In the coming time, Amama plans to launch its accessory line where the audience can come to shop for all kinds of fashion accessories under one roof.

Amama asserts that after launching its 22kt gold-plated brass jewellery at the start of 2022, the brand quickly gained popularity among A-listers and fashion icons like Alia Bhatt, Masaba Gupta, Kirti Sanona, and others.
