Ayekart Set for New Funding Round at 2.8X Higher Valuation

Ayekart, the Mumbai-based full-stack agri-food platform, is gearing up for a new funding round that values the company 2.8 times higher than its previous raise. The firm is set to secure Rs 65 crore (around $7.4 million) from Vihu Hospitality Pvt Ltd and Enchant Packaging Pvt Ltd, according to its latest regulatory filing.

The company has approved the allotment of 5,333 equity shares at Rs 1, 21,862 each to raise the incoming capital. Vihu Hospitality will invest Rs 35 crore, while Enchant Packaging will put in Rs 30 crore.

Ayekart plans to use the funds to expand its retail and distribution operations, strengthen sourcing and processing, and improve the supply of raw materials. The filing indicates that this is only part of a larger raise, with the overall Series B round expected to touch Rs 150 crore. Existing investor Omnivore is also likely to join the round with an investment of up to Rs 35 crore.

With this valuation jump, Ayekart’s post-money valuation will rise to Rs 1,331 crore ($151 million) compared to Rs 474 crore during its previous round. Founded in 2020, the platform connects farmers and FPOs for sourcing, manages processing through partners, and distributes products via a growing FMCG network. It also offers quality checks, logistics, payments, and traceability powered by its own tech stack.

Ayekart has raised over $13 million so far. After this round, new investors Vihu Hospitality and Enchant Packaging will hold 2.63% and 2.25% stakes, respectively. Omnivore will continue as the largest external investor with 13.71%, while Co-founder and CEO Debarshi Dutta retains a 25.91% share.

The company reported strong financial growth in FY24, with its GTV surging 2.3X to Rs 1,533 crore and profits reaching Rs 94.3 lakh. FY25 financials are yet to be announced.
