Carl Pei's Nothing Collaborates With Flipkart to Launch True Wireless Earbuds in India

Carl Pei, OnePlus co-founder's consumer tech startup, Nothing is all set to partner with e-commerce giant Flipkart to launch its wireless earphones in the Indian market.

The startup’s exclusive wireless earphones, Nothing Ear (1) that were launched a month ago will now be available on Flipkart. This move will happen alongside the product’s global launch, the company said without disclosing any specific launch timeline.

Ear (1), which is Nothing's first product, was expected to debut this month. Pei however had announced a delay in the launch last week. Flipkart will play a key role in building Nothing’s Indian presence. Consumers can also avail after-sales service through 205 service points across 171 cities through its group company Jeeves, said Rakesh Krishnan, senior director (electronics), Flipkart.Flipkart will also offer pick and drop service in cities where there is no service centre.

"Flipkart’s pan-India supply chain will be instrumental in reaching Nothing customers and delivering a superior end-to-end product experience, which is very important to us," said Manu Sharma, Vice President & General Manager, Nothing India.

After exiting from OnePlus last October, Pei had unveiled his new venture Nothing in January this year. The company focuses to build a suite of smart, connected consumer electronics products.“At Nothing, we aim to create easy to use consumer tech products with iconic designs that will bring differentiated value to our users in India and around the world” he said.
