The Whole Truth (TWT), a clean-label health food company, has secured $15 million in a Series C round headed by Sofina, with participation from all current investors, including Sauce.VC, Z47, and Peak XV Partners.

In previous rounds, the company has also received support from angel investors Jaydeep Burman (Rebel Foods), Sriharsha Majety (Swiggy), and Nithin Kamath (Zerodha).

The brand's in-house production expansion, hiring of talent, and category growth will all be supported by the revenues.

The Whole Truth, which was founded by former Unilever marketer Shashank Mehta, sells a variety of goods, such as muesli, protein bars, peanut butter, dark chocolates, energy bars, and immunity balls. The business offers subscription services and states that 80–85% of its sales originate from its website, with partnerships accounting for the remaining revenue.

By attracting underserved demographics like women, youth, and older folks, the company is also broadening its customer base beyond typical fitness enthusiasts. The firm continues to transform India's $40 billion packaged food market in addition to its marquee goods.

The Whole Truth's income increased from Rs. 35.96 crore in FY23 to Rs. 65.3 crore in FY24, representing an 81% year-over-year increase. In the same time frame, the company's losses decreased by 33 percent.

Yoga Bar, Slurrp Farm, True Elements, Opensecrets, and Monsoon Harvest are its rivals.

“From day one, our mission has been to build a truth-brand—one that fights to bring honesty back to food. We aim to make food real again and extend this philosophy to every category where consumers are being sold half-truths, from protein bars to protein powders and beyond,” says Shashank Mehta, Founder & CEO, The Whole Truth.
