An Enterprise conversational support platform ClearFeed announced the raise of $2.7 million in a seed investment round managed by Peak XV Partners' (formerly Sequoia Capital India & SEA) accelerator programme Surge.

8VC was one of the additional investors who took part in the deal. The business stated that it would use the additional capital for both product development and expansion of its go-to-market teams. Chat platforms like Slack and Microsoft Team, which require users to copy and paste information between different tools and cannot close the loop with stakeholders on chat, lack the structure, tracking systems, and metrics required by larger teams in enterprises.

ClearFeed said that it uses artificial intelligence (AI) models to track enquiries and elevate requests on chat platforms, streamlining consumer and employee requests. Triage channels, one-click ticket submission, and live two-way data syncing are some of the capabilities offered by the company's products. Eight software programmes, including Zendesk, Jira, FreshDesk, HubSpot, Github, Linear, Intercom, and Salesforce, are integrated with it.

Additionally, OpenAI's GPT-4 has been deployed by ClearFeed to index product documentation and knowledge bases, automatically provide responses to user inquiries, and help agents resolve user queries by directing them to the appropriate resources. According to ClearFeed, since the beginning of 2023, the number of employees and income at its India headquarters have both doubled. With more than 10,000 users, Atlan, Last9, Sprinto, and Plum Insurance are among its 100 clients.

ClearFeed is a platform that helps improve customer service and speed up workplace conversations. Joydeep Sen Sarma, cofounder, said, "We're excited to start the next stage of our growth, driven by the new capital, as we strive to deliver more product features". By Sarma, Ankit Jain, and Lalit Indoria in Bengaluru in September 2021, ClearFeed was established. In addition to founding Apache Hive and serving as cofounder and CTO of Qubole, Sarma was an early Facebook engineer.

Jain led the product division at the conversational AI startup SkitAI and founded SprintAI, which was backed by Y Combinator and developed supply chain AI tools. Indoria had worked for Qubole before joining Udaan. "This funding round positions ClearFeed to disrupt the SaaS and B2B support landscape, giving companies the competitive edge they need in today's dynamic market", stated Bhaskar Ghosh, partner and CTO, 8VC.
