Bengaluru-based consumer electronics startup Cuzor Labs has raised Rs 5 crore in a seed funding round, led by Ramesh Kannan, Founder and Managing Director of Kaynes Technology India Limited.
Cuzor Labs focuses on high-performance, thoughtfully designed consumer electronics. The startup currently leads the Mini UPS category with a 41% market share and is now expanding into the fast-charging segment with its GaN chargers.
The company recently launched the Cuzor Pulse 70W, which it claims is India’s first GaNSense-based 70W charger fully designed, engineered, and manufactured domestically.
Speaking about the product, Sachin D Naik, Founder and CEO of Cuzor Labs, said, “While ‘Designed in India’ is a proud label, our goal is to compete globally on product merit, features, and quality and be recognised for that. That’s the true validation we seek for our engineered-in-India products”.
He also expressed excitement about the funding, saying, “We’re delighted to have the backing of Mr. Ramesh Kannan, a stalwart of India’s electronics industry, whose investment in Cuzor is a huge vote of confidence in our vision”.
The Cuzor Pulse 70W charger comes with several first-of-its-kind features. It delivers up to 70W peak output and has an intelligent dual-port distribution system that allocates up to 25W for smartphones instead of the usual 20W, enabling 25% faster charging even when two devices are connected.
It is also the first 70W GaN charger to include charging status LEDs for each port, which show real-time charging speed. The LED changes to a steady glow as devices reach full charge, giving users a clear view of charging progress.

Powered by Navitas GaNSense Gen 4 IC, the Pulse 70W offers 91% peak efficiency, generates low heat, and has a high power density of 11.97 W/in³. The charger is built for durability with full silicone potting and a polycarbonate enclosure.
It is compatible with PD 3.0, PPS, QC2.0, and QC3.0 protocols and supports a wide range of devices, including the iPhone 16 Pro Max, Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, Pixel 8 Pro, MacBook Air/Pro, and Dell XPS laptops.
Commenting on his investment, Ramesh Kannan said, “The Cuzor team has shown grit in designing and manufacturing their products end-to-end and a strong commitment to customers the kind you see with world-class global brands. I’ve been following them since their first product and have watched them grow steadily”.
