The fund-raiser coincides with a period of rising D2C brand growth in the nation due to rising internet penetration and smartphone usage. Eyewear behemoth Lenskart is preparing for an IPO, while beauty and personal care brand Mamaearth went on to list on the stock exchanges. This is the reason why there is still a lot of interest from investors in the space.
