Delhi based Gen-AI platform KonProz secures $700K in latest funding round
Generative artificial intelligence startup KonProz, has recently raised $700,000 in a new round led by Dr. Ruchi Parekh, RDB Group and angel investors. The freshly fetched fund will be used for building a Generative AI intellectual property for the legal domain, team expansion and scaling operations to broaden KonProz’s platform capabilities.
The AI based startup was established by Piyush Chopra and Shiladitya Dash. The company has taken the help of emerging technologies like Gen-AI, and created SaaS solutions for the legal, tax and regulatory space. The company is headquartered in Delhi NCR, with an additional base in Bhubaneshwar, KonProz is registered with both Startup India and Startup Odisha.
From the initial stage, KonProz demands to have got the significant attention for its flagship product, namely, KonProz GPT, the first GenAI tool trained specifically on India’s tax, legal and regulatory laws.
Since the launch, of its phase 1 product in November 2023, the company has developed more than 2000 active users including the senior professionals from the Big4s and Tier 1 law firms, and aims to now build a comprehensive suite of products.
In a media interaction, Shiladitya Dash and Piyush Chopra mentioned that, their focus at KonProz is to make Generative AI a responsible and indispensable tool for professionals, empowering them to navigate the intricacies of legal, tax, and regulatory frameworks with ease and efficiency.
The co-founder duo also added that, they are thrilled to have secured this investment, which underscores the confidence of our investors in our vision and capabilities. With the funding, they aimed to further enhance KonProz GPT’s prowess, setting a new standard for excellence in the legal and tax technology landscape.
