A investment round managed by Agility Ventures saw an undisclosed sum raised by the hearing device technology company EarKart. Aside from Blume Ventures, several investors took part in the round. Ashneer Grover, the company's initial lead angel investor, is also a shareholder.

"We are pleased to welcome Agility Ventures and more investors to our team. Their assistance will enable us to reach more patients in need of our services and increase our capacity. Rohit Misra, the founder of EarKart, stated, "We intend to use the investment to enhance our technical infrastructure and increase our team to support our expanding consumer base.

Founded in 2021 by Misra and Priyadarshi Jha, earKart caters to the patient population suffering from hearing loss, which is estimated to be around 98.5 million people in India, of which over 60% do not have access to audiological services, making it difficult for them to get the necessary help they need. The Noida-based company said it aims to bridge this gap by providing access to the latest technology hearing aids at an economical price. EarKart has India’s largest all-brand hearing clinic network of more than 1250 clinics.

"EarKart has already built a successful business in the quickly expanding audiology sector. According to Dhianu Das, cofounder of Agility Ventures, "the audiology market has been growing at a continuous rate of 7-8% per year, and with earKart's novel strategy, we believe we can add an extra increase of 5-7% in just three years.

The business makes all items from international manufacturers available to all patients and dispensers of hearing aids. It has submitted a patent application for combining remote computing and medical device diagnostics, which will enable the creation of the first remote diagnosis and remote programming audiology model ever.
