Enercomp Solutions, an Ahmedabad-based drone technology startup, has raised Rs 2 crore in a bridge funding round led by a group of angel investors. The deal was facilitated by Bestvantage Investments, a boutique investment advisory firm specializing in high-growth startups across India and the Middle East.
The capital infusion will support Enercomp’s plans to expand its manufacturing infrastructure, scale AI-powered drone software R&D, and enhance its delivery systems to support national-scale deployments.
Founded with the vision of building core infrastructure for India’s fast-growing $13 billion drone economy, Enercomp offers a vertically integrated model combining indigenous drone manufacturing, Drone-as-a-Service (DaaS), and a proprietary GIS analytics dashboard designed for critical applications.
Its product line includes seven proprietary drone models, ranging from VTOL and fixed-wing to surveillance platforms, serving both enterprise and government clients. Notable customers include Tata Projects, Reliance, Mahindra Susten, L&T, and multiple public sector bodies. Currently, 70% of revenue stems from product sales, while its GIS platform is gaining momentum for real-time data analytics.
Enercomp has shown strong financial performance, with revenue rising from Rs 3.1 crore in FY23 to Rs 5.6 crore in FY24. With Rs 4.2 crore already booked in the early months of FY25 and an active order book exceeding Rs 9 crore, the startup is poised for its most successful year yet.
To date, Enercomp has raised Rs 6.9 crore, with its valuation soaring fivefold, from Rs 12.5 crore to Rs 60 crore.
“We’re building not just drones, but the infrastructure needed to enable real-world, large-scale deployments across key sectors,” said Jatin Patel, Co-founder and Director at Enercomp. “This bridge round positions us for accelerated growth and national impact.
