Fresh Funding Round Offers USD 39Mn to LogiNext
The California-based transportation automation platform has previously raised USD 10 Mn in Series A round of 2016 led by Paytm and Alibaba. The recent Series B financing is the third investment round for the company in the last 3 years. This lifts the total investment bagged by the LogiNext to USD 50 Mn till date. The brand has also raised fund from Sanjay Mehta, who is the first investor of the company.
The fund received will be used to expand the footprints in New York, London, Sydney and other countries.
It aspires to double the workforce and drive the business to heights. Operating in 20 countries, the company claims that most the revenue is gained outside India.
Eyeing better business opportunities, LogiNext is also planning to utilise the fund for research and development (R&D). “Our customer’s testimonials speak to that and with this investment, we are looking to build an even superior product which will help our customers differentiate from their competitors,” LogiNext CTO, Manisha Raisighani, said.
Commenting on the investment, Ravi Mehta, CEO of Steadview Capital stated, “We are very excited about this opportunity of investing in one more SaaS company build in India and selling to the world because we believe that in the years to come, most of the sophisticated software will be bought from Indian minds.”
Conceptualized by Dhruvil Shangvi and Manisha Raisinghani in 2014, LogiNext is a SAAS (software-as-a-solution) startup that has over 200 clients from various domains such as eCommerce, retail, consumer goods, express transportation, utilities, F&B among others.
