Gan.ai, a platform for generative AI video, has raised $5.25 million in a seed round from investors including Emergent Ventures, Sequoia Capital India, and Southeast Asia's quick scale-up programme. The business will utilise the funds to expand its operations and hire more engineers and salespeople in India and the United States.

Suvrat Bhooshan, a Californian, founded Gan.ai in March 2021 to provide brands with studio-quality video personalization software. With just one recording and the addition of dynamic keywords to a script, brands can quickly create millions of movies that are highly individualised. Additionally, businesses may utilise Gan.ai to build custom landing pages and send videos via chosen communications channels, enabling targeted user engagements and call-to-actions.

In order to help businesses develop distinctive buying and payment experiences, the platform really interacts with Shopify, Calendly, Stripe, Salesforce, and Hubspot. Businesses may also get detailed customer insights and video performance metrics from its end-to-end solution. Suvrat Bhooshan, founder and CEO of Gan.ai, stated that his company "is empowering marketing teams around the world to generate a higher return on investment for video campaigns."

"Imagine a food delivery service being able to send a personalised video from a brand ambassador, addressing its customer by name and asking how they liked items in their most recent order, or a clinic reminding a patient to schedule a follow-up appointment," he said in further explanation. In comparison to other static types of communications, this hyper-personalization results in significantly greater conversion rates. Currently, the firm employs 35 people, the majority of whom are situated in Delhi. These individuals include the chief revenue officer, Anupreet Singh, and the chief technology officer, Kushaagra Goyal.

Customers of the startup in India include Mobile Premier League, Samsung, Zomato, Vivo, Swiggy, and IPL team Mumbai Indians. Some of the top companies in the country, such as EyeCare Partners, one of the leading networks of eye care facilities, employ Gan.ai.

"We make videos with influencers and celebrities, and now that Gan.ai is available, the results are remarkable when they shout out your name and instruct you to follow a customised call-to-action. According to user Tejnoor Grover of the gaming platform Mobile Premier League, "We witnessed a 5X boost in our video completion rate, a 3X rise in open rates, and a 1.5X increase in our click-through rate.
