Good Monk Raises $2M Pre-Series A Investment to Revolutionize Nutrition in India

Bengaluru-based direct-to-consumer nutrition firm Good Monk (@goodmonk.in) has raised $2 million (around INR 17 crore) in a Pre-Series A funding from RPSG Capital Ventures, along with some existing investors including Multiply Ventures, Sharrp Ventures, and ThinKuvate. This funding round, announced on April 17, 2025, comes after an earlier raise of INR 7 crore in May 2024, taking the total funding to more than $2.8 million. The new capital will be used for research and development, product innovation, and scaling up its clinically proven nutrition mixes, which have seen a remarkable 11-fold growth in the last year.
Established in 2022 by Amarpreet Singh Anand and Sahiba Kaur, Good Monk is a brand of Superfoods Valley that sells a variety of multivitamin, probiotic, and fiber-based nutrition mixes that can easily be incorporated into daily meals without altering their flavor, color, or odor. With more than 50 nutrition mixes for kids, adults, and the elderly, the products are intended to combat micronutrient deficiencies. The Good Monk Family Nutrition Mix, clinically tested, is said to boost energy, immunity, and digestive health in 95% of the users within 120 days. The company made it to Shark Tank India Season 4 and received a deal of INR 1 crore from Vineeta Singh of SUGAR Cosmetics. It retails its products on its website, Amazon, Flipkart, and other online stores.
“We’re dedicated to making nutrition straightforward, effective, and accessible for Indian families. This funding will enable us to innovate and scale to meet the increasing demand,” stated Anand. Abhishek Goenka, Managing Partner at RPSG Capital Ventures, remarked, “Good Monk’s innovative approach to nutritional supplements aligns perfectly with the growing consumer demand for convenient and effective solutions.” The startup plans to enhance its digital presence and introduce new products to tackle hidden hunger.
With India's direct-to-consumer nutrition space going strong, Good Monk's focus on clean-label, science-led products makes it a leader in the health and wellness industry. Social media comments are filled with excitement, with users calling it a "game-changer" for family nutrition.
