• $3M Series A Raised – Led by GVFL to boost tech, R&D, and expansion in India and emerging markets.
• Affordable Agri-Tech Innovation – Launched India’s first pocket-friendly soil testing device for smallholder farmers.
• Rapid Growth & Reach – Serving 2.25 lakh+ farmers across 12 states with 650+ franchise partners.

Agricultural protection startup GROWiT has raised $3 million in Series A funding from a round led by GVFL, with participation from Veloce Opportunities Fund, JITO, We Founder Circle, Sunicon Ventures Fund, Progrowth Ventures, and Hyderabad Angels.

The company plans to use the new capital to accelerate growth, enhance its R&D strength, and add technology infrastructure in order to serve farmers better. GROWiT also aims to grow in local markets and break into exports in Africa and other developing nations, while continuing to develop affordable, sustainable, and climate-resilient agri-solutions for smallholder farmers.

GROWiT has introduced India's first pocket-size soil testing kit to its portfolio of agri-products like mulch films, crop covers and weed mats that ensure crop protection and productivity via eco-friendly solutions.
The startup founded in 2020 now operates in 12 states with a franchisee network of more than 650 franchise partners and has over 2,25,000 farmers as its customers.

“With climate change posing serious challenges to agriculture, tech-based resilience is crucial. At GROWiT, we’re focused on developing accessible, affordable tools—like India’s first low-cost soil testing device—to help farmers grow smarter and sustainably,” said Saurabh Agarwal, Founder & CEO of GROWiT.

The company positions itself as a one-stop agri-solution provider, aiming to boost yield, reduce input costs, and promote sustainable farming practices. India's agritech sector is expected to reach $30–35 billion in scale by 2027, and GROWiT claims that it is well-placed to ride the boom by providing solutions for key pain points of Indian farmers through innovation.

"GROWiT is equipping farmers with accessible, climate-smart solutions that generate income and resilience. This is in line with our investment strategy on sustainable agriculture," said Mihir Joshi, Managing Director, GVFL.
