Mumbai-based Happi Planet, a sustainable home care brand, has raised $2 million (around Rs 18 crore) in a funding round led by Fireside Ventures and Prath Ventures. This marks the startup’s first institutional investment, following earlier internal and small early-stage funding.

The company plans to use the funds to expand its product line, strengthen distribution, and hire talent across key functions. The investment will also help the brand scale up operations and deepen its reach across urban markets.

Founded in 2021, Happi Planet makes eco-friendly home care products including laundry liquids, dishwashing liquids, surface cleaners, and floor cleaners. The products are available through direct-to-consumer (D2C) channels, e-commerce platforms, and select offline stores.

With a growing base of environment-conscious urban households, the startup aims to widen its footprint in more cities and retail outlets. Happi Planet’s approach combines sustainable product development with a modern brand appeal, catering to India’s fast-growing segment of green consumers.

The company competes with both emerging and established players such as Neynto, Beco, The Better Home, Godrej Consumer Products, HUL, and ITC, depending on the product category.

The new funding is expected to fuel Happi Planet’s next phase of growth as it works to become a leading name in India’s eco-conscious home care market.
