HealthPlix Raises $22 million in Series C Fundraising
Electronic medical record (EMR) software supplier for doctors HealthPlix Technologies on Monday said it raised $22 million in a seriesC round of fundraising, led by Avataar Venture Partners. SIG Venture Capital and returning investors like Lightspeed Venture Partners, JSW Ventures, Kalaari Capital, and Chiratae Ventures are among the additional investors who are taking part.
While HealthPlix Technologies is Avataar Venture Partners’ first interest in the healthtech space, it is its second investment in the larger healthcare sector, first being in InsuranceDekho. “HealthPlix approach of using doctors as the focal point and delivering value to other stakeholders like patients, pharma brands, pharmacies and diagnostic labs is unique and differentiated.
We have seen many business models that have failed to scale in the healthtech ecosystem and we believe that Sandeep has built a great team to deliver on HealthPlix promise,” Avataar Venture Partners managing partner said in a statement.
In 2014, Sandeep Gudibanda, Raghuraj Sunder Raju, and Prasad Basavaraj founded HealthPlix, an EMR platform powered by artificial intelligence that serves over 10,000 clinicians in 16 specialties and has treated over 22 million patients.
