Dectrocel develops AI-powered diagnostic solutions for respiratory and hepato-pancreatico-biliary (HPB) diseases. Its flagship product, DecXpert, is one of only three AI-based diagnostic tools approved for clinical use in India CDSCO, delivering chest X-ray and CT-scan interpretations up to ten times faster with 98% accuracy.

The startup addresses India’s acute shortage of radiologists especially in tier-2 and smaller cities, where diagnostic delays of seven to ten days and error rates of 25-40% are common.

“We’re not just building AI diagnostic tools we’re saving lives by ensuring that patients in tier-3 cities receive the same quality interpretations as those in metro hospitals. Our 40.1% improvement in missed case detection, validated in Nature Scientific, proves that AI can be a great equalizer in healthcare access,” said Ankit Shukla, Founder & Technical Director, Dectrocel.

The company plans to expand DecXpert across OEM partner networks, capture a share of India’s one-thousand-crore digital X-ray market, establish a presence in Southeast Asia, and diversify its product offerings with new diagnostic modules and enhanced AI capabilities for broader pathology detection.
