HerKey secures $4M funding from Kalaari, 360 ONE Asset

HerKey, a platform enabling women to engage in their careers, announced that Kalaari and 360 ONE Asset (formerly known as IIFL Asset Management) had contributed $4 million to its investment round. Angel investors participating in the round included Zia Mody, Managing Partner, AZB & Partners; Puneet Dalmia, Managing Director, Dalmia Bharat Group; Pramit Jhaveri, Former CEO, Citi India; Aditi and Shuchi Kothari, DSP Investment Managers Private Limited; KP Balaraj, Founder, KPB Family Trust, Ranjan Pai, Chairman, Manipal Group; Neeraj Bajaj, Chairman, Mukand Limited, and Akash Bhansali.

HerKey, formerly known as JobsForHer, connects women with jobs and provides mentorship, upskilling, and reskilling support. Neha Bagaria founded HerKey, which today provides services to 3.5 million women with hopes to grow to 30 million in the future. According to a release, over 10,000 businesses have signed up for the site to interact with female prospects.

"Increasing the number of women in the workforce would be a key component of India's economic growth in the upcoming ten years. A digital platform like HerKey is what's required right now to move in the right direction. Vani Kola, founder and managing director of Kalaari Capital, claimed that HerKey "helps women exchange diverse knowledge, perspectives, and enables them to interact without being constrained by time and location."
