Holiday Tribe Raises Rs 25 Crore Pre-Series A to Scale AI Travel Platform

Holiday Tribe, a leisure holiday-focused travel-tech startup, has raised  Rs 25 crore (around $2.85 million) in its pre-Series A funding, led by existing investor Powerhouse Ventures and GSF, with the support of other angel investors. Both equity and debt money have been included in the funding.

This comes after the company's seed round of  Rs 5.4 crore in September 2024, following which it claims to have more than tripled. The new capital will be used to scale its AI infrastructure, deepen supplier partnerships, and enrich both mobile and desktop platforms. Uplifts on the cards include enhanced real-time personalization, itinerary optimization, and customer support abilities.

Holiday Tribe also plans to grow its range of hotels and activities, providing the traveller with more bespoke choices. Set up by Chirag Goyal and Anshu Sharma, the business has developed holidays to more than 30 worldwide destinations. Its network of suppliers covers in excess of 100,000 hotels and one million activities across the globe, with collaborative arrangements made with tourist boards in Singapore, Switzerland, Dubai, Mauritius, and Abu Dhabi.

With a vision of reaching an annualized GMV of  Rs 500 crore in the next 18–24 months, Holiday Tribe is aiming to make holiday planning easy and tailored to Indian travelers.

Luxury vacation rental site ELIVAAS earlier today said it raised  Rs 87 crore ($10 million) in Series B led by Vertex Ventures Southeast Asia & India.
