NEDFi Venture Capital Ltd. (NVCL) has raised an unknown sum in a seed round for KraftInn, a home décor firm, through its North East Venture Fund.

KraftInn is assisting in the transfer of home décor products to environmentally friendly solutions made of sustainable materials such as bamboo, water hyacinth, and cane, thereby assisting in the mitigation of climate change.

“Climate change is one of the most pertinent issues of our generation and home décor companies need to change how we make things. We aspire to be India’s largest direct-to-customer sustainable home décor brand. We would like to thank NVCL for placing its trust in our vision. We would also like to thank NEATEHUB for investing their support and faith in our model," said Parikshit Borkotoky, CO-Founder, KraftInn.

The funding will be used to grow the company's inventory and designs. A portion of the funds raised will be used to strengthen the marketing, sales, and distribution teams within the firm.

“Our approach is to directly reach out to the target customers and build a digitally native brand. In addition to this, we closely work with the customers to understand their preferences and habits in real-time. This equips us with the required understanding that goes into building the new products. Our approach is our key USP," said Pramathesh Borkotoky, CO-Founder, KraftInn.

Kraftinn is not only a business, but also a blending centre. By developing eco-friendly, durable home décor products, they attempt to bring together creativity, innovation, and vision. The term KRAFTINN is a mash-up of two words: "craft" and "inn." The term "craft" refers to the goal to create one-of-a-kind products by utilising the talents of artisans who have developed through centuries. On the other side, an inn is a place where visitors can learn about the local culture and where many ideas are combined to develop a new one.
