Bengaluru based electric vehicle startup iGoWise Mobility has successfully raised Rs 8.2 crore in a new funding round. The round was led by ISB Angels, with participation from 888VC and Guptaji Venture Capital. This fresh capital will fuel the company’s growth plans by upgrading manufacturing processes, improving customer service, and expanding its electric vehicle lineup.

iGoWise plans to invest heavily in tooling and automation to reduce production costs and improve quality. The startup is focused on creating a robust indigenous supply chain, which will help build affordable, efficient electric vehicles tailored to Indian conditions.

Sravan K Appana,Founder and CEO of iGoWise, highlighted the company’s approach to frugal innovation and agile engineering, emphasizing that iGoWise aims to make electric mobility accessible while creating positive environmental and social impact.

The company intends to deploy 1,500 electric trikes across major cities such as Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, and Panjim over the next 12 to 18 months. To support this, iGoWise has partnered with fleet operators including Hala Mobility and Elektrik Express, helping to expand last mile connectivity in urban areas.
