Campus Angels Network facilitated a Rs. 71 Lakh capital in a funding round for Triolt Energy Pvt, an IIT Madras-incubated startup that specializes in next-generation energy storage technologies. This investment comes after Little Angels Network and SIDBI recently raised Rs. 1.29 crores, which was a major up round and demonstrated Triolt Energy's quick development and inventiveness in the lithium-ion battery industry.

At the forefront of developing and manufacturing cutting-edge lithium-ion cells is Triolt Energy, which was established by IIT Madras graduates Raghu Sripada and Ananya Gangadharan and IISc Bangalore alumnus Rajesh Thomas. By providing solutions that improve safety, performance, and cost-effectiveness, their patented electrode material processing and distinctive cell designs seek to satisfy the changing needs of electric vehicles (EVs) and other crucial applications.

Triolt Energy's production scale-up, additional technical validation, and initial deployment to a limited number of clients will all be aided by this financing. Triolt Energy hopes to improve its unique technology by developing next-generation lithium-ion cells, which will accelerate the adoption of EVs, cut down on charging time from six hours to fifteen minutes, and increase battery life by 1.5 times. The industry will move toward more sustainable and efficient energy practices as a result of these initiatives.

Expressing to this funding round, Raghu Sripada, Co-Founder & CEO, Triolt Energy says, “This funding will accelerate our efforts to bring our cutting-edge lithium-ion cells to market. Our incubation at IIT Madras Incubation Cell, along with invaluable mentorship from Prof. Ashok Jhunjhunwala, has equipped us to drive innovation in energy storage technology. With this investment, we are well-positioned to address the key challenges of fast charging, high discharge rates, and long cycle life, making EVs more accessible and reliable.”

Chandran Krishnan, Managing Director & CEO, Campus Angels Network notes, “Triolt Energy’s innovative approach, backed by their strong foundation at IIT Madras, aligns perfectly with our investment philosophy. We believe their advanced energy storage solutions will play a crucial role in the future of mobility and renewable energy, and we are excited to support their journey toward transforming the industry.”
