Indian Enterprise Tech Startup 'Gallabox' bags $3. 5 million in Seed Funding
Gallabox has raised $3.5 million in a seed funding round led by FUSE, with additional backing from existing investors Prime Venture Partners and Neon Fund. With this latest investment, the company’s total capital raised now stands at $5 million.
The newly acquired funds will be used to enhance product capabilities and expand Gallabox’s global reach, the company stated.
Founded in 2021 by Karthik Jagannathan, Yogesh Narayanan, and Yathin Panchanathan, Gallabox empowers small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) to leverage enterprise-grade AI automation on WhatsApp. The platform currently serves over 10,000 businesses across 45 countries.
Gallabox was conceived from the founders' direct experience with SMBs facing difficulties in managing customer communications and scaling operations. They observed that despite significant investments in lead generation, businesses often relied on inefficient manual processes.
"My co-founders and I spent a decade working in a local services marketplace, where we saw businesses just beginning to digitize and build their lead pipelines. However, most of the work happened after acquiring leads, with conversations determining which prospects were nurtured or lost. Many businesses lacked proper CRM tools, making the process chaotic and inefficient," said Karthik Jagannathan, CEO and Co-founder of Gallabox.
Recognizing the crucial role of pre-conversion interactions, the team developed an AI-driven solution to automate these processes.
"This is a transformative era where AI intersects with messaging. SMBs are often the missing middle in economies, and our goal is to democratize AI solutions, making them accessible to a vast majority of businesses," Jagannathan added.
