Indian Startups from Key sectors hits $179.63 million Funding in a week
As many as 25 firms from various industries raised $179.63 million in investor funding between November 11 and November 16, 2024.
AI, B2B, Proptech, SaaS, eVTOL, AI, Lending, Dronetech, Legaltech, AaaS, Healthcare, Logistics, and Lending are some of these industries.
Over $125 million was raised by Indian entrepreneurs this week, with $35 million coming from NBFC company Easy Home Finance alone.
Throughout the week, investments were made in a wide variety of sectors, with lending taking the lead. Sarvagram was in the forefront of this sector, raising $67 million in funding. In a Series B fundraising round, the math teaching platform Bhanzu raised $16.5 million.
Following the list were the real estate advising platform Guardians, the ePlane Company, and B2C commerce firm Wheelocity, which raised a total of $41 million.
The ePlane Company raised $14 million, Guardians raised $12 million, and Wheelocity raised $15 million.
StampMyVisa, a travel tech business, raised $780,000 in a pre-Series A financing round. In a pre-Series A investment round, DesignX, a SaaS manufacturing firm, raised $1 million. In its pre-Series A fundraising round, India IVF, a healthcare firm, raised $1.25 million.
Pikndel, a logistics technology firm, raised $1 million in its initial round of funding. Funstop Games, a gaming firm, raised $5 million in its Series A fundraising round. BiteSpeed, a pre-Series A investment round for e-commerce AI startups, raised $3.5 million. Mushin Innovative Labs, a SaaS firm, raised $250,000 in a seed round. In a seed investment round, Zeptlyn, an AI firm, garnered $3 million.
In a Series A fundraising round, Ennoventure, a provider of identification and brand protection solutions, raised $8.9 million. In a Series A fundraising round, Vecmocon Technologies, a business focused on vehicle intelligence, raised $10 million. Airbound, a drone technology business, raised $1.7 million in its initial round of funding. LegalKart, a legal technology business, raised $760,000.
The funding amounts were withheld by OnePlay, the gaming firms Norian Games and Xigma Games, and the cleantech venture Hydrogen Mem-Tech.
Strategic mergers and acquisitions also occurred during this time. Traveltech company EaseMyTrip purchased Planet Education Australia Pty Ltd, a global education service provider with its headquarters located in Sydney; enterprise software and B2B SaaS company Kovai.co purchased B2C SaaS startup Floik; and e-commerce enabling SaaS platform Unicommerce purchased Shipway.
