InnerGize Raises $6.5 Crore Funding from Antler India, AC Ventures, and Others

InnerGize, a cutting edge wellness platform to promote the body's stress resilience, has raised $6.5 crore in funding from a set of investors just weeks after its launch. The pre-seed financing round had participation from top names in India's startup ecosystem, including Antler India and AC Ventures. Part of the major entrepreneurs and industry players who participated in the round include Sharan Hegde (Finance with Sharan), Arjun Vaidya (D2C entrepreneur and early stage consumer investor), Aman Gupta (CMO of boAt Lifestyle), Ritesh Agarwal (founder and group CEO of OYO), and Varun Mayya (CEO and founder of Avalon Labs).
The startup has also received support from medical practitioners like Dr. Agni Bose (dermatologist) and Dr. Sid Warrier (neurologist and public speaker). Additionally, InnerGize is a Biotechnology Ignition Grant Scheme recipient of the Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council (BIRAC) and also receives support from the WTF Fund founded by Zerodha founder Nikhil Kamath.
As the first clinically proved mental health wearable for use by people who suffer from stress and anxiety, InnerGize is responding to a major gap in India's healthcare industry.
InnerGize, founded by India's fitness and wellness industry leader Dr. Siddhant Bhargava along with Shalmali Kadu (product head and engineer) and Mitansh Khurana (compliance and tech head), leverages proprietary patent pending Neuro Acoustic Vagal Modulation technology. The innovation activates the vagus nerve, which reaches out to the relaxation centers of the brain to shift from a 'fight o flight' mode to a 'relax-and-restore' state in a matter of minutes.
The technology is backed by more than five years of proprietary research, input from over 50 experts, and data from over 10,000 user sessions. The startup states that pre-clinical trials have shown astonishing results, including a 32% reduction in anxiety, a 36% reduction in stress, and an 86% boost in levels of relaxation among users.
