In its Pre-Series A investment round, which was headed by Mistry Ventures and included participation from BeyondSeed, Thrive Ventures, and other notable investors like Anupam Mittal, Aman Gupta, Vineeta Singh, and Peyush Bansal, Healthfab, a brand of reusable period panties, has raised $1 million.

The startup had previously raised $336K from BeyondSeed in a seed round back in 2022.

According to a news statement from Healthfab, the money raised will be used to invest in R&D and increase the company's footprint in Tier 2 and metro areas.

Kiriti Acharjee, Sourav Chakrabarty, and Satyajit Chakraborty co-founded Healthfab in 2019 with the goal of revolutionizing menstruation hygiene with practical, cozy, and environmentally responsible solutions. The business eliminates the difficulties that women encounter in their households. The company's creative GoPadFree Period Panty is a reusable, leak-proof solution that reduces plastic waste while providing comfort and unhindered mobility. It is made to be easy and confident.

Market research projects that India's feminine hygiene sector will develop at a 14.8% compound annual growth rate (2025–2030) to reach $2 billion by 2030.

According to Healthfab, its breakthrough technique has earned it patent protection and BIS certification, making it the first reusable period panty brand in India. Along with a revenue growth rate of 2.5–3 times every year, it claims to have added over 3 lakh clients.

The startup faces competition from Thinx, Knix, and other firms in this market.
