Mental Health Startup 'LISSUN' lifts $2.5 million in Pre-Series A
RPSG Capital Ventures led the $2.5 million Pre-Series A funding round for the mental health platform LISSUN. Along with returning backers like Ivycap Ventures, Rainmatter, and Sucseed Ventures, the round also included new investors like Multiply Ventures and Atrium Angels.
With this recent funding, the company has raised $5 million in total capital.
LISSUN completed a seed round in September 2023, raising $1.3 million under the direction of Inflection Point Ventures (IPV), Rainmatter Capital (Zerodha Group), and other investors.
Dr. Krishna Veer Singh co-founded Lissun, which works with healthcare, corporate, and educational institutions to provide integrated solutions for high-stress problems like work pressure, exam anxiety, and chronic illnesses.
The company provides child development services for neurodevelopmental and behavioral issues, including learning disabilities, ADHD, and autism spectrum disorders, among others, through a division named Sunshine by Lissun.
LISSUN provides comprehensive care and contextualized support to persons who may not be aware of their mental health and developmental concerns. It employs psychologists, special educators, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and behavioral therapists.
With just 100,000 mental health sessions, the Gurugram-based company says it has improved over 75,000 lives since its founding.
Lissun is in competition with Wysa, Amaha Health, and YourDost in the mental health space.
Expressing to this fund raised, Krishna Veer Singh, Co-founder & Chief Executive Officer, Lissun, says, “This Pre-Series A funding reinforces Lissun’s mission to solve mental health at scale. It equips us with the crucial resources needed to expand our services, enhance our technology, grow our team, and increase our reach. With this investment, we are further empowered to deliver high-quality, accessible mental health care to those who need it most, driving significant advancements in the field and setting new benchmarks for excellence in mental health care across India."
