Mental Health-focused Startup 'GoodLives' gains Rs. 1.1 crore in Pre-Seed round
A pre-seed funding round of Rs. 1.1 crore has been secured by IIM Lucknow, Rabindranath Tagore University, and other investors, including Anupreet Singh, Deepak Motwani, Abhishek Hota, and Build3.
GoodLives said in a press release that the proceeds will be used to expand its reach and elevate offerings, improve the platforms features and functionality, broaden its activities, and enter new markets.
Sakshi Shah and Lawrance Bamania co-founded GoodLives in 2022, with the goal of making mental health support accessible, impactful, and individualized. A unique blend of DIY exercises and expert-led interventions is used to bridge the gap between professional therapy and everyday well-being.
According to the Gurugram-based company, the platform offers individualized and effective holistic health solutions with the help of AI-powered do-it-yourself workouts and expert therapy. Through tailored programs, it aims to enhance employee engagement and well-being through large and mid-sized corporations.
More than five million people are already aware of mental health issues, according to GoodLives. The firm launched a LinkedIn campaign to de-stigmatize discussions about mental well-being and claims to have garnered significant praise for its inventive outreach approach.
This funding round highlights the growing significance of psychological well-being in the workplace. This investment will enable us to broaden our reach and elevate our offerings, ensuring mental health assistance is both accessible and effective for everyone, said Sakshi Shah.
Mental well-being is more than just a personal goal; it's a communal necessity. We want to make mental well-being as important to workplace culture as physical health. We're closer to that vision now thanks to this funding, Lawrance Bamania said.
