- Netrasemi raised Rs 107 crore in Series A funding led by Zoho and Unicorn India Ventures.
- Funds will boost R&D, manufacturing, and marketing of AI-powered SoCs.
- Startup designs energy-efficient chips for on-device AI in smart IoT products.
Kerala-based semiconductor startup Netrasemi has raised Rs 107 crore in a Series A funding round led by Zoho Corporation Ltd and Unicorn India Ventures. The fresh capital will be used to accelerate R&D, scale manufacturing capabilities, and strengthen marketing initiatives.
Founded in 2020 by Jyothis Indirabhai, Sreejith Varma, and Deepa Geetha, Netrasemi is pioneering system-on-chips (SoCs) tailored for smart IoT devices. These SoCs are engineered to process complex workloads like video processing and advanced AI analytics directly on the device, eliminating reliance on cloud-based computing. This on-device intelligence is made possible through Netrasemi’s proprietary energy-efficient AI acceleration core (NPU) and a comprehensive suite of in-house silicon intellectual properties.
