Noida-Based Kidbea Bags INR 1.5 Cr From Agility Ventures

Kidbea, a kidswear brand based secures a pre-seed funding round of Rs. 1.5 crores. The brand is being funded by Agility Ventures, along with some individual co-investors, including Nandi Mehta, the CFO of Kaaf Funds, Tapas Sahu, the Chairman of the CII in Jharkhand, Divij Bajaj, the founder of Power Gummies, Abhishek Kocchar, founder of Diamond overseas, and Vivekananda Nareddula, the founder of Apaizer.

The founders intend to use the funds to boost marketing efforts, expand the team, and improve R&D activities within the Indian kidswear market. Founded in 2021 by Swapnil Srivastav, Mohammed Hussain, and Aman Kumar Mahto, Kidbea. The aim is to provide non-toxic sustainable products to the children and relaxed parenting to every toddler's parent. Kidbea has already raised two rounds of funds, including the angel round that took place in March this year.

The co-founder of Agility Ventures, Dhianu Das, commented on Kidbea's three consecutive funding rounds, "Kidswear has the highest growth potential in India, and we feel privileged to be a part of it with Kidbea." With the help of its highly experienced team in Kidswear and advisors in fashion, marketing, and production, the start-up is positioned to reach a large market share. Their dedication towards working to capture the Kidswear market in India and building a brand that Indian parents can trust is highly assuring.”

The co-founder of Kidbea, Aman Kumar Mahto, said, "A product can be copied but a brand is unique. A product can become outdated, but a successful brand is timeless. A great design will not sell an inferior product, but it will enable a great product to reach its full potential. On Kidbea's future plans, he stated, "In the next two years, we will launch designer Indian ethnic kidswear, onboard top Indian fashion designers, and make Kidbea among India's top three Kidswearbrands"
