Online learning Platform ixamBee raises $3000,000 from JITO Angel Network & Others
Delhi-based online government exam preparation platform, ixamBee raises $300,000 (Rs 2.5 crore) in seed funding. The platform is specifically focused on rural and semi-urban students.
The funding round was led by Jain International Trade Organisation (JITO) Angel Network, a worldwide organization providing opportunities for investment in early-stage startups, and Mumbai Angels, a platform focused on new venture investing.
The round also saw the participation of Existing investors including Keyur Joshi, Co-founder, MakeMyTrip.

To groom the next generation of smart learners, the startup offers technology-based learning solutions for competitive exams.
The platform optimises learning by providing simple learning materials such as mock tests, online test series, online practice tests, and speed tests series to assist students in preparing for banking and insurance exams, SSC exams, Railways exams, teaching exams, and other government and other exams in the most systematic way possible.
The startup will use the funds to improve its services by investing in technology to provide a better customer experience and designing content for courses for different government jobs.
The funds will also be used to expand ixamBee's scope across various marketing platforms, as well as to raise exam awareness among prospective applicants, many of whom are missing out on opportunities due to a lack of knowledge/information about government job exams.

Since its launch in April 2017, ixamBee has aided 6.5 million students in their preparation for government exams. ixamBee claims to have seen an increase in paying students and sales over the last year.
According to the startup, about 50 million people apply for government jobs every year, with the majority of them hailing from Tier II and III cities and villages. ixamBee offers free online mock tests for over 50 different assessments, as well as a comprehensive online learning experience that includes everything from career counselling to interview training.
