Bengaluru-based healthtech startup Praan Health has raised Rs 8.5 crore in a seed funding round led by Rainmatter Investments, with participation from WEH Ventures and angel investors such as Alakh Pandey and Prateek Maheshwari (PhysicsWallah) and Arjun Vaidya.

The startup plans to use the funds to strengthen its product and technology, grow its clinical and coaching teams, and expand its nationwide service reach.

Founded in 2024 by Navneeth Ramprasad, Praan Health offers a lifestyle-first chronic care platform designed to help parents aged 50 and above live longer, stronger, and pain-free lives. The platform blends physician-led care, clinical nutrition, and personalized strength training to help manage and reverse chronic diseases through sustainable lifestyle changes rather than hospital visits.

Praan recently launched its mobile app, which enables young adults to monitor their parents’ health journeys, from uploading blood test results to tracking risk scores, weekly progress, and doctor consultations.

The company offers customized 90, 180, and 365 day programs covering more than 25 chronic conditions, including diabetes, hypertension, arthritis, osteoporosis, and post-surgery recovery.

In less than a year, Praan has supported over 1,500 families through 50,000 personalized sessions delivered by a multidisciplinary team of physicians, nutritionists, physiotherapists, and strength coaches. The startup aims to transform chronic care in India, shifting focus from frailty to strength and independence.
