Rohal Technologies Raises $1 Million to Advance R&D in Green Energy Solutions

• Rohal Technologies raises $1M from Finvolve and India Accelerator for R&D and scaling.
• Its SOFC-based hybrid power systems are used by Indian defense forces in extreme conditions.
• Patent-pending tech and DRDO, BEL partnerships signal strong growth ahead.
Finvolve, India Accelerator's (IA) multi-stage VC fund, has made a $1 million seed investment in Rohal Technologies. Rohal Technologies is a cutting-edge creator of hybrid green energy solutions customized for mission-critical use in defense, homeland security, disaster management, and telecommunications.
The infusion of funds will speed up Rohal's plans to ramp up production, honor its growing pipeline of government and defense orders, advance its R&D muscle, and strengthen its engineering and operations staff. Known for its Solid Oxide Fuel Cell (SOFC) technology developed indigenously, Rohal proudly asserts that its hybrid power systems, compact and rugged, are deployed by the Indian Army, NSG, CRPF, BSF, and other key defense and homeland security organizations in high-altitude, harsh climatic conditions.
The startup's technology provides clean, quiet, and extremely portable substitutes for conventional diesel generators, which are operable on many different fuels, such as LPG, CNG, and biogas. With trials having succeeded at altitudes higher than 18,000 feet and temperatures lower than -35°C, Rohal's solutions are battle-tested and ready to scale. Furthermore, the company also has a patent pending for its hybrid power management system and is working closely with DRDO, BEL, and other state players to further enhance and implement cutting-edge energy solutions.
