Sales Automation Platform LeadSquared Raises $32 Million from Gaja Capital, Stakeboat Capital & Jyoti Bansal
SaaS based sales automation platform LeadSquared has raised $32 million in series B funding. The round was led by mid-market focused private equity firmGaja Capital. Additionally existing investor Skateboard Capital and Jyoti Bansal a well-known investor and former chief strategist and chairman of AppDynamics.
The fresh investment comes a year after LeadSquared had raised $3 million from Skateboard Capital. In a statement, the startup mentioned that the fresh funds will be leveraged for talent acquisition, continued expansion and product innovation in industries beyond education, financial services, and healthcare.
Founded in 2011 by Nilesh Patel, Prashant Singh, and SudhakarGorti, LeadSquared is a complete sales execution, marketing automation & field force management platform. The best in class CRM platform envisages every team involved in the customer journey – including marketing, call center, inside sales, field sales, and other feet-on-street teams. The company has recently added customer portals and a suite of tools to digitize application processing to its platform.
With offices in New Jersey and India, LeadSquared caters to over 1,000 customers globally including BYJU’S, Acko, Amity University, OLX, Dunzo, Practo andFrubana among various others. The company has identified edtech, higher education, financial services and tech marketplaces as some of its high-growth markets.
