Sports for Life (SFL), a youth sports platform Co-Founded by DealShare’s Sourjyendu Medda and Armaan Tandon, has raised Rs 21.57 crore (around $2.58 million) in its Series A round. The funding was led by Fireside Ventures and Genesia Ventures, with participation from Roots Ventures, TDV Partners, and existing backers.
The company will use the capital to expand into more cities, grow its multi-sport academies, add new sports, and strengthen its coaching team. SFL also plans to upgrade its performance and communication platform by investing in livestreaming tech, monitoring tools, and deeper analytics to improve structured youth sports access nationwide.
SFL integrates academies, leagues, and a technology layer into one platform. Its AI-powered system tracks training and match performance to create personalized learning plans, progress dashboards, and insights for coaches, helping young athletes improve with data-driven support.
Currently operating in Mumbai and Pune, SFL says it has trained over 1,500 children and organized tournaments with 2,000+ players. Its football league alone attracted more than 100 teams in its second edition, showing growing demand for organized youth sports.
