Stimuler Raises $3.75M for AI English Language Tutoring

Stimuler, a voice-based AI tutor specifically targeting English-as-a-second-language (ESL) students, raised $3.75 million in a pre-Series A funding round led by Lightspeed and SWC Global, with investments from MVP, Rebright, Force Ventures, GradCapital, and Operators Studio.
The company will use the funds to upgrade its AI infrastructure, build out its technical team, and drive user acquisition, aiming to grow its monetization more than five-fold in the coming 12 to 18 months and emerge as the top education app in Latin America (LATAM) and Southeast Asia (SEA).
What does Stimuler do?
Stimuler is created to help ESL consumers enhance their oral proficiency using a voice-led AI platform. Created in India, it has gained paying customers from more than 150 nations, especially in Latin America, Southeast Asia, and India. The platform uses cutting-edge speech analysis and AI-powered learning to transform the manner in which people learn and practice English speech.
"Our vision at Stimuler is simple: to provide fluent English speaking to everyone in the world. This round of funding will help us invest more in our AI infrastructure, expand our presence in LATAM and SEA, and become the leading education app in these strategic markets. We believe that our India-to-the-world and voice-first approach places us well to address the needs of a billion English learners," said Akshay Akash, CEO of Stimuler.
