Stakeboat Capital has invested Rs 50 crore in Sukino Healthcare Solution as part of a Series A private equity investment round. The company intends to use the funding to grow into new geographical areas and to places that need restoration using business procedures and technology.

Sukino Healthcare Solutions received financial advice from Veda Corporate Advisors ("Veda"). Stakeboat Capital's investment in Sukino, according to Chandrasekar Kandasamy, managing partner, would enable the Bengaluru-based firm to seize a portion of this continuously expanding market.

Sukino Healthcare Solutions, founded by Rajinish Menon in 2015, offers a comprehensive range of services, from preventative care and essential intervention to rehabilitative treatment and sensitive palliative care for patients who are terminally ill. The patient's home or one of its continuum of care institutions is where this care is given.

Patients with chronic illnesses, such as complications from neurological impairments, cardiac disorders, cancer, respiratory distress, kidney diseases, and post-operative clinical care, are the main target audience for its services.

According to a statement from the company, it currently operates out of five facilities in Bengaluru and Kochi and has provided care for more than 10,000 patients to date. It currently oversees 5 centres, but in the next three years, it plans to grow to manage 20 centres with a total of 1500 beds.
