Tan90 Secures Rs 20 Cr Series A to Scale Climate-Smart Cooling Solutions Globally

• Raised Rs 20 crores Series A funding to scale Indian and global market
• Cooling-as-a-Service operational in 8 cities with zero churn
• Targeting cold chain, HVAC, and data center projects for climate-first solutions
Chennai-based deeptech startup, Tan90 Thermal Solutions, raised Rs 20 Cr in Series A funding led by NABVENTURES and supported by Blue Ashva Capital, Capital-A, and 3i Partners. The proceeds will be utilized to develop new cooling products for cold chains, HVACs, and data centers, while also expanding Tan90's footprint in India, Southeast Asia, Middle East, and Africa.
Using proprietary Phase Change Materials (PCMs) and a novel Cooling-as-a-Service (CaaS) scheme, Tan90 delivers sustainable, on-demand, and capital-light cooling across various sectors such as logistics, healthcare, agriculture, food, and manufacturing.
Speaking about this, the co-founder Soumalya Mukherjee said, "Our goal is to build future-ready cooling ecosystems that are efficient, scalable, and climate-resilient putting India at the forefront of thermal innovation."
The company has grown by over 70% CAGR over the last three years and is close to reaching breakeven; in its CaaS operations currently developed in eight Indian cities, it has zero churn with customers. Now it wants to get even deeper into its climate impact by opening up in 10 additional cities, particularly Tier-2 locations.
