The co-founders of Snapdeal, Kunal Bahl and Rohit Bansal, are backers of Titan Capital Winners Fund, which declared its ultimate closing at Rs 333 crores (about $40 million).

The Fund decided to subscribe to the greenshoe option in order to accommodate additional commitments after reaching its initial aim of raising Rs 200 crore earlier in August 2024.

Later on, these funds will be used in the company's current portfolio companies, the news statement stated.

Titan Capital has supported over 250 businesses since 2011. Urban Company, MamaEarth, OfBusiness, Razorpay, Unicommerce, and Ola Cabs are a few prominent seed investors.

Titan Capital's Winners Fund attained its Rs 200 crore target corpus in August. It made large withdrawals from businesses like Urban Company, MamaEarth, Ola, and Credgenics using this fund.

Significantly, Titan Capital's initial Rs. 57 lakh investment in Urban Company yielded a Rs 111 crore full exit. The couple's initial $60,000 investment in Ola increased significantly, and they completely left the company in 2021 when its peak valuation of $7.3 billion was reached.

Titan Capital recently unveiled Indicorns, a new index that showcases successful companies generating more than Rs 100 crore in sales. Among the startups on the Indicorns list are Groww, Infra.Market, Indifi, ConfirmTkt, CashE, Fibe, Everest Fleet, Fynd, Indiqube, Karza, Lendingkart, Oxyzo, and Nodwin.

Speaking to this, strategic investment Co-Founder Kunal Bahl says, “Through this fund, we will back about 20 tech-enabled businesses with an average cheque size of Rs. 15 crore. This further strengthens our existing partnership with the founders and gives a strong positive signal to new investors in their company”.
